Collaborative law is a relatively new but innovative approach to resolving family breakdown issues. It works on the premise of face-to-face meetings, with both parties supported by a specialist collaborative lawyer and working together to reach an agreement and reduce conflict.

Collaborative lawyers must sign an agreement that disqualifies them from representing you in court if the process breaks down.

You set the pace; you are not governed by court dates and, subject to everyone’s availability, meetings can be arranged quickly. Ultimately, you make key decisions about your own future.
